Everything that is rightfully unpopular in MUT is worse in MyTeam and no, the rewards are NOT anywhere close even though they've fallen off a cliff this year in MUT.
You going to try to win 100 TT games for the 91 OVR David West? That's the first guaranteed player you can get there.
You going to play 66 max difficulty games in Domination which you have to win by 15 points each game to get that 90 OVR Gasol?
You going for 50 wins in a progressively harder Clutch Time mode to get 91 Otis Thorpe? That's the easiest one yet and that is taking you forever to get.
You chasing all of the golds and evolution golds that won't make your team in the season pass? Almost all of the rewards up to level 33 are basically worthless and won't make my roster because there were actually a lot of great set rewards early on through objectives, but they haven't gotten any better and are now mostly obsolete.
Most of the rewards you speak of by opening the vault, leveling up, etc. are cosmetic or sneakers that you can use for a few games to make your player slightly better.
Lets say you want that 91 Dwight Howard Level Up card and don't want to spend any money. How long is it going to take you to grind out the 225k MT it takes to complete the set?
I play MyTeam more than MUT yet my OVR is always higher on MUT despite having way more roster spots to fill, and I always have more extra coins/training on MUT than MT/VC on MyTeam.
Do yourself a favor. If you have gamepass, download NBA Live 19 and log into Ultimate Team and check out the thousands of short objectives for rewards in a game that is literally dead and hasn't been touched by EA in 5 years.
The longer I stick around the more of a dogshit company EA seems to me, but as of today they are still ahead of 2K, unfortunately that gap is closing very quickly.
It's weird, because it's like you play MyTeam, but don't really play it. On the surface, what you said is accurate, the Clutch Time, Domination, and TT rewards from the progression are trash. But the vault, wheel spins, and doors, are anything but. Bank the MT, and buy yourself Tournament Battle players for 10k each. Here's where MyTeam has a massive (and fun) advantage, EVO cards. You can get 4x 92 players, 8x 90s, and a host of 88's just from that program.
The Pyramid of Power had an easily obtainable 92 D-Wade, and 2x 90's for a small amount of MT.
Freaky Rewards for Halloween had 3x 90's including the hog himself Shawn Bradley who plays well above his stats.
NMS I've pulled 10x 90s from packs and a shit ton of Rubies. Spend the MT wisely including the sales to lock in the sets for amethyst cards. They just had a free 90 OVR Bill Walton yesterday for doing the most basic of tasks.
I get what you are saying about game play, I hate online as well because it's god awful mismatches, and offline sucks above All-Star, but as a card collecting and rewards based game, I think you need to give MyTeam a little more time to grow on you. There's no way you are fielding a 91 OVR team as NMS right now, that's easy in MyTeam. I agree with you on the coins though, but I attribute that to the Auction House more so than the rewards. Once MUT takes it away (and they will) it will be even more clear how god awful BND and other trash packs are for the mode.
Bro I have decided I don't have enough time to debate about two bad games I barely play anymore. This is too much. I've been busy playing a good game called State of Decay 2. You should find a good game instead of wasting time on these 2 piles of shit.
I’ve been thinking about AC Mirage, it can’t be worse than Valhalla, but I know it won’t be as good as Origins or Odyssey. Probably will be my next move, but I’ve also never played RDR2 and people swear it’s one of the best games of all time.
You have to play RDR2. The intro to the game is very long and kind of boring, but once you get into the open world aspect of the game it's a masterpiece. Mirage looks like it's actually going completely away from the RPG aspect of Origins and Odyssey and going back to the roots of the franchise.
