There are plays out there which would allow you to exploit coding issues in the game, but...as a former college football coach and mentor of young men...I would assume you want to establish lasting improvement and not an exploit. I would encourage you to tackle this in the same way you would with your team back in the day...practice and patience. Your friends are good because they have been playing along time.
