It's very obvious and anybody that plays can copy the meta or YouTube scheme and win more games. I would rather lose a few more games every year and win with my own style of play. The key to enjoying this game for me is to realize and not stress that a big percentage of better players are running the same plays and spamming them. If you need the satisfaction of winning so bad your willing to run the same BS all year long over and over... you need the win more than me. I used to be so frustrated when I would lose to a player that did every glitchy play known to beat me, and the game was more stress than fun. Last year I enjoyed H2H running 20 unique offensive plays per game on offense and 10 on defense and still had a good record. I honestly haven't played much yet this year, because I just got into football mode last weekend... but I'm sure nothing has changed there.
I use 3-4 odd and dime 14. The dime 14 is the closest thing to meta I use and its only for spread out trips formations, rpos and single back formations . 3-4 odd is far from meta. I also use the chargers offense, use running plays maybe 20% of the time to keep them honest and never use any RPO EVER and no qb designed runs EVER.
