That’s how it goes unfortunately, I have 4 max players so far. 3 base and 1 foil but cost me all my bench players and 5 starters. Max is definitely for whales but some non spenders will get a decent amount also.
It ruined the one part of the game where you can actually play one on one with other teams. They all have 6800 and above now . I don’t spend a dime and getting 1 Max player on offense and 1 on defense ISNT gonna make a difference. Unfortunately this is where the game dropped off last year. LVLs are first and then a lot a players just wait til August to come back. It’s a great game when anyone can beat anyone, and that’s what it used to be about, but this Max bullshit ruins it.
You’re right, I don’t spend anymore but I usually buy some of the 1.99 packs in previous years. It’s more than the Max bs, last year it was P2W and non spenders didn’t have much of a chance. That most feared Moss was a big problem and started the whole downward spiral in the direction they’re going moving forward. Console is make or break for 24 and could see the same thing happening to mobile. Even spenders aren’t happy with the game and good amount quit already. We will see how mm24 looks in July, I’ll be posting the info anyways.
