Removing features of a game the community enjoys is dumb. And by looking at the forums, Twitter and the chats on stream people do care even if YOU don't.
I get that, and I agree. I’m simply saying I’m surprised that many people used it and it’s gotten people this mad. Is it farmers or is there some other use case I’m missing? Genuinely asking.
Once upon a time… there used to be a community that helped each other out with sets (real sets when they used to exist). I myself enjoy the MUT community and like to engage whenever possible. Along with that, there used to be friends and clans that would trade amongst each other and let people try cards before purchasing. Then there’s the giveaways and just helping out. If I want to give my nephew a card, why can’t I? It’s not cheating. If anything it creates a memorable gaming experience for the youth/future.
When MUT first came out, it was a trial and EA had to make it user friendly. Now that they have monopolized the market, they are forcing the hand on maximizing their profits. The problem is that EA provided these things from the beginning. Anytime you take something away it doesn’t sit well with the mass population.
At the end of the day, if the gameplay is bad and engagement doesn’t exist anymore, what is left?

I'm assuming most of the people complaining is because of their farm accounts.
