You clearly don't understand the economics of PUs, and this would be like trying to explain quantum mechanics to a lizard, but simply stated, remember all those PU passes? They were earned in troves, and could easily bypass the 1 mil+ prices the cards are now. It's contributed to the massively inflated market that NMS players (see point 1) struggle to keep up with. They were only a "coin sink" for little Jimmy with momma's credit card who absolutely NEEDED to max out every card for a +1. Hint: anybody that was using PUs to +1 their cards deserved the coin sink.
