It was initially to boost your Muthead OVR by joining a group of like minded football fans. Loads did MHC giveaways etc. Most of the communication was done outside of muthead on tools like discord or slack. The one I was in (EDGE) is still going strong, and even . Not as many active members as there once was, but still going spanning both this and it's spinoff site.
Thanks for the info...so why did they stop being a thing here on MH? I understand the MH OVR is not active anymore, but seems like anything that brings folks together is a good thing.
When the site got sold to fandom it lost a lot of the old features. There was a whole page for clans, you had to pay a fee of MHC to start one and add members. Was very fun
No way to revive them? Many of the veterans, such as yourself...seemed to really enjoy them. From the info I have been seeing...I don't see a downside. Anything that is fun and allows folks to interact has got to be a good thing.
It was a top ask for many moons. But apparently there is no budget for the developers here to add or fix anything at all. That’s why it’s still a shell of outdated forums.
