Back to EA loses FIFA license

They lost the rights to call it FIFA, along with any national team content or World Cup stuff. pretty bad showing for the year of the WC, and FIFA themselves said they'll go to another developer. EA will still make billions, but will take a significant hit in profit. One step towards holding them accountable in the coming years hopefully.

I am in Europe a few times a year. The backlash on EA about loot boxes and DDA is real - and they are not infiltrated with shills there that brainwash people. A few years back the FIFA players started bringing up things with local governments and some countries passed various laws. Fun to read about that stuff. FIFA though stepped in here and listened to their fans. They didn't really give EA the option to continue and it was all about community feedback. Madden/football is just weird. No community no tying together. Best example is Reddit. FUT reddit was always talking about issues... pack odds, dda, nerfing, all of that stuff. You talk about that stuff on MUT reddit you are instabanned. That is why MUT Reddit has like 20 times less members.
