Dude...you a Brewers fan? There literally hasn't been a team over the last 5 years that's exceeded their projected wins than the Brewers...no matter what analytical site you wanna use. Cots or Fangraphs or whatever.
The BUCKS before this year had found new innovative ways to lose games. The BREWERS are one of the smartest teams in Baseball and have arguably the best manager. I doubt they win it this year also just because...it's always a long shot, but they're built for the playoffs as well as anyone, and they just added a middle-of-the-order bat who plays SS.
Yeah...like always, it's a crapshoot. But they've got the best record in Sept for the last 3-4 years.
In 2018 they came from 5 back by winning 11 in a row including beating the Cubs in two series, then won a tie-breaker to win their 96th game to get into the playoffs.
Then lost in 7 games to the Dodgers...
The next year they lost Yellich for the season and they STILL went on a huge run to come back and make the playoffs.
And this year they're 7 games up in the division and have been one of the best teams in baseball. And they've been the best team in baseball when they've had a lead after 7 innings the last 4 years.
There's nothing to see when it comes to how smart they are and how well run they are. Just...if things fall their way in the playoffs this year or not. And like I said, probably not because...the odds are literally against every team. But I'll take their chances. They're as good this year as they've been since '82.
This has been the best 5 year stretch in Brewers history.
