How are they simulating weight at all? Safeties can stop the run no problem out of nickle. The fact a 3-3-5 could stop the run in jumo sets is the definition of weight being inaccurate.
Have you played next gen? It's way more realistic and weight matters alot more. Even more reason why current gen sucks ass. I run all over 335 wide from 2/3 TE sets
I've had Ps5 since second month of releases? It's still not accurate at all. I can run a 300+ lb O line and if they have strong safeties they can stack the run gaps, or at least what Madden tries to simulate and filling the gaps. I don't know if you remember Pats Colts game a few years ago when they extra o line and Gronk a TE2 and he threw that DB almost since the weight differential was so great. They ran for 4 TDs and never switched it up. You can't do straight ahead runs like that, with a jumbo set and just win every snap, just like IRL. Maybe it's slightly better, but there should be essentially guaranteed run blocks if I have Gronk or a Tackle and he's going up against any DB. They made Safeties have no real weaknesses, with high Man Zone and apparently able to stop small trucks with their bare hands. There's more, like speeds being off even with same speed players IRL. Also, if they ever want this to be on par with the leading AAA titles it would appear they need to build a custom physics engine to build the game on. They're using Frostbite since they bought DICE years ago. but that was a FPS engine that could simulate the destruction of inanimate objects well. Other EA games have had issues, but for football it goes beyond that sine the number of data points and contact points all in real time would be enormous.
When I played ps5 with a friend I felt like personally the players were way to slow like they would make their cuts too slow, they’d run routes at perfect speed but once they caught it it was like walking, but we were in franchise and I think he changed the settings but idk. But if the player were that slow in real life, it’d all be defense. There’d be no Raymond berry’s. That’s my opinion if ps5, then again it was only one game but I’m just saying this: I LIKE XBOX ONE WAY BETTER
idk man. I get stuffed vs a 335 full of safeties. I also can't stop a run running a 34 formation, but can stop using nickel formations with 3 down lineman. Makes no sense at all
