There's small chance things, and there are physics becoming meaningless. And to properly simulate 1 game can't be equal to 1 game of stats, since their so short and you play many of them. Sure there's wins and losses, but without standardization and actual counters to each thing it becomes who either does something silly, or gets Frostbited since it's a FPS engine. Ideally sports create a environment where physical skill and strategy and thought meet and 1 side is winner. Same reason NFL has hard cap and also the bes parity in Pro sports, The idea is to get rid of money as the driving force and they review the rules every year to try and catch anything needing tuning. EA should take some notes.
