Run and gun or pistol are both excellent. RNG has a lesser learning curve and is easier for most players to pick up.

If you are well above average skill wise, run and shoot is excellent but not recommended for 90% of the community.

Why not recommended on the RNS? I was just looking at that PB and thinking about trying it out (I'm not good, only been playing a couple years and I'm getting worse I think). The PB had limited formations which I thought might be easier to use. You may be saving me from a beating (nah...I'll take a beating anyway I'm sure).

One plus about the next gen is there is a favorites tab. You can toggle them on/off. I go to practice mode and set my favorites there. The thing I like is you can group them because it puts them in the order you toggle. So when I go up and down my running plays are together, I have play action plays together, etc. One thing to keep in mind is the last plays you toggle on will be your first plays you will see on the screen. The only thing I don’t like is it doesn’t save packages you set or even the default ones like Heisman in the Ravens and QB Blast in the Saints.
