Yeah but I'm more of an animal guy because they don't know any better....whereas Hernandez was extremely rich, had a newborn child, caring wife, and was a young giant successful star on the rise and gave it all away by murdering another human being(who wasn't a piece of shit and I believe related to his wife or was his childhood best friend) just to prove he was "tough". Mike Vick is by far more redeemable and has redeemed himself in my eyes than fucking Aaron Hernandez.
Also I don't want to hear "that's just the way he was raised" bullshit. Hernandez was raised in a middle/upper-class neighborhood community where Vick actually did grow up very poor and in a bad area in the south where one could say that disgusting dogfights are "just part of the culture" or that "it's like running with the bulls in Spain". Both shit excuses but if you are going to argue that, Vick has the better story to back behind. Also he lost almost everything because of it. All his money, the prime years of his career, reputation, etc. Also I'm pretty sure it was never proven that he was actually there or organized the fights. I believe he was screwed because all the properties were in his name...though I could be talking out of my ass. I do know that he's given a shit load back to the Animal Humane Association as well as the S.P.A.C.
I'm also aware of Hernandez and the possibility of CTE impacting his decisions but if we are judging purely by actions, fuck Hernandez.

Good point man, too many people with hate for Vick. He did his time and even gives back to the community for what he did.
Hernandez was living proof that there is too much hate in this world.
