Well I have a ps5 and my friend doesn’t snd we’ve played together so I think it’s definitely possible
i think as long as both consoles play the same game they play on the same servers. only when the next gen madden is available the new consoles have different servers.
He was talking about the NEXT GEN VERSION OF THE GAME. If you play the old gen on new gen, you can play against people on old gen.
