It's in the way you have your specialists setup. Some nickel sets will put them in other spots. Example in 3-3-5 your rush ends are on the line, but in 2-4-6 they are upright. If you can't sub Mack in at end anytime... he must be somewhere else already. He should always be able to come in at either end.
Its weird because i run the ravens playbook and my LE would always appear as part of the 2-4-5. Now since mack suppose to be the new LE he doesnt even appear in the sub players at LE only as a sub for the OLB and my DT replaces as a LE in general and either way i put it he still appears
