What about the 3-4 Over Ed formation? Its basically a 4-3 defense by alignment with 3-4 personnel. Its probably not a coincidence that its in the Bmore playbook. I'm not sure which linebacker puts his hand in the dirt but you can formation sub Suggs into that spot if its not the OLB position you have him in.
Also depending on who you play in madden (and irl) nickle is more of the base coverage now(because so many people use 3 or more receivers). Get into nickle 2-4-5(which should be base nickle in most 3-4 books) and have him play in the DE position. Same thing in Dime, use the LB at DE formation sub and let him do what he does best.
