Btw based on what both teams have done. I think there’s a strong possibility Chiefs have been negotiating hard with Arizona to get Pat Pete.
Unfortunately there's been reports that any rumors regarding the Chiefs getting him have "no substance". But who knows, things change.
I don’t believe reports like that. Arizona’s front office just spent months saying Rosen was their QB and Kyler Rumors had no substance lol.
I believe fact that we did not take a CB means we have to be trading for a major one, there’s no way we’re just going to completely ignore it.
We actually took a hybrid CB/S/LB in Thornhill. These reports are not the same as those about Rosen and Kyler, that's draft stuff, you should never believe that. The reports about Patrick Peterson came after a former WR said he was going to the Chiefs, then actual reporters said he definitely isn't. The only way the talk about him coming to KC even started was because of a lie, plus hopeful fans speculating last season. You also forget that we have Fuller and Dennard, that's fine for our two main corners. Pat Pete would be great but we don't need him, and I highly doubt we get him.
Thornhill is not a CB in the NFL my guy. We’ve completely ignored the position, only can mean one thing.
We haven't ignored the position, we got Dennard, and Ward is coming into his own. I'm telling you, unless something changes we aren't getting Peterson.
Chargers going to keep ignoring that dog shit offensive line? Socksfly, where you at?
I guess so. Adderley is simply too good of a value at a position of semi-need.
What about the second pick? I get you need a Weddle replacement, but...
Right, Adderley was the second pick. Most sources I find have him as a top 2 safety and approximately the 30th to 35th best prospect. It's good value and the Chargers didn't have a centerfielder. But after this, OL is basically the only position of need so I'm out of excuses for next round
Another contract extension: Ravens have signed a 4 year, $23m extension with Justin Tucker, making him highest paid kicker in the league. Robbie Gould has also asked the 49ers to trade him, telling them he won't sign a long term deal with them, and is yet to sign his franchise tag.
Well worth it to keep Tucker around. Kickers are at a premium
