do you guys agree that aaron donald is the most talented player in the nfl? I think that he is for the position he plays. Not as impactful as a qb, but probably the best DT to ever play the game.
I would say he is the most talented defensive player in the league
I would give him the best in the league
i have a strong feeling kamara and mahomes are both gonna be putting their names on that tier in 2019
Mahomes was my 2nd choice. A distant third....my pick was also Kamara. Football wise, RBs are devalued but when we're talking pure talent and skill, I'm not sure who you'd put above Kamara. Maybe Barkley? Perhaps one of the top WRs like Julio? Idk. I think my list goes Darnold, Mahomes, Kamara tho.
ok so just off of talent and skill and not off of how good they are... hmm. i guess i see why yall are saying kamara since he can run and catch, but yeah, still... i'd think saquon and a bunch of the other receivers are more talented, along with donald and mahomes. idk. weird question for me
I cant post pictures with my phone but did y'all see the new classic uniforms the Bears released today? They'll wear them during 2 games. White jerseys with team color stripes on shoulder pads. Not sure how I feel about them.
Just saw a list of the players who completed the most passes of 50+ air yards. Didnt look anything like I'd expect.
1. Mitch Trubisky(6)
2. Kirk Cousins(5)
3. Deshaun Watson(5)
4. Case Keenum(5)
5. Russell Wilson(5)
6. Aaron Rodgers(3)
7. Patrick Mahomes(3)
8. Carson Wentz(3)
9. Matt Ryan(3)
10. Ben Roethlisberger(3)
didn't even know kirk and keenum could throw a football 50 yards
😂😂😂 Keenum being tied for 2nd blew me away
I didn’t even know we threw the ball further than 10 yards once all year....
Keenum was also in the top 5 in terms of QBs with the most 4th qtr game winning drives during the last season
One of the dumbest kept stats ever, don't even get me started.
Why is it a dumb stat?
Maybe because the amount of opportunities varies for each qb.
^This. If you lead a bunch of really, really good offenses, you don't need 4th quarter comebacks or game winning drives. It's like saying here's a stat for being good, but not too good. Really stupid imo. Just look at the career list of 4th quarter comebacks. Roger Staubach and Steve Young have less than Ryan Tannehill. Kurt Warner is tied with Blaine freaking Gabbert. It's the same deal with game winning drives. Both are stupid stats that don't have any significance on who is better.
I also dislike these "Broadcast Stats." Stuff commentators can muse on between plays because they lack the personality and knowledge to fill the gaps.
Completion % on 3rd down when trailing in the 4th quarter
Completions of 50+ Yards in the air
Completion % when throwing off back foot
Just, all kinds of weird, arbitrary, conditional and flukey stats.
ESPN be like - "Completion percentage when throwing to a backup TE on the 3rd Sunday of an odd month"
Right lol. I like to call those "run-on records".
They are called interesting- although maybe useless- statistics that you wouldn't find elsewhere. They are called proof that the broadcasters put in the time to bring a quality broadcast. You can mute the TV if you don't like listening to stats that make you say, "Ahh. cool!"
pretty sure it's the statisticians that hand those stats on a silver platter to the broadcasters
