Best concert for me was Metallica at the Cardinals stadium. They were incredible. It just beats out my first time seeing Slipknot in 2004 with Slayer. Both shows were epic. Worst was All That Remains and Trivium in Albuquerque. Not because of the bands but because if the venue. It was awful. Every band had issue with the sound. They just couldn’t get things right all night. I’ve seen each band multiple times and know they put on great shows but that night it just seemed doomed from the start.
Best show(s): Lollapalooza 92. PJ, Soundgarden, RHCP
Smashing Pumpkins 92
Woodstock 93. NIN
HM: Chris Cornell Tribute earlier this year.
Worst show: Jane's Addiction 91. Loved this band so much and they sucked so bad that show (mainly cuz Perry was tripping balls)
Would have loved to see that Cornell show. Bet it was great. Crazy that we just passed the 2 year mark of his death. Dude was incredible. I only had the opportunity to see him once. It was with Audioslave not too long after the first album dropped. It was awesome. Always wished I would have been able to see him with Soundgarden.
Best: Backtrack - Super small venue hardcore show but it was absolutely nuts. Was easily the most fun I've ever had at a show before.
Worst: Buckcherry - Not a fan of them anymore, but I went to an Avenged Sevenfold concert back in the early 2010s and Buckcherry was the band that played right before Avenged Sevenfold was set to play. Never liked Buckcherry's music anyway, but their live show was awful.
