With how closely we've been following competitive Madden, we're trying something new. Each week we will be releasing power rankings for the top 25 players.

You'll notice a lot of big names, that easily would make the list of the best Madden players in the world, missing from these rankings. That's intentional. We're basing our rankings purely on performances in sanctioned MCS tournaments, Friday Night Football, and other relevant competitive Madden events. Here's the list:
